WaterHealth India and IFC Releases Joint Report on Environmental and Social Risk

WaterHealth India and IFC released a comprehensive report on environmental and social risk for setting up water centers in India. The report discusses possible environmental and social impacts for setting up water centers in India. It highlights the environmental concerns, social mitigation issues and the management measures. The main results and the objectives of the report are summarized, describing all study elements. An Environmental Social Review Summary of the project is now publicly available and can be downloaded from WIPL web site www.waterhealth.com and at the IFC infoshop website http://www.ifc.org/projects. WIPL has also made the report available for public review at its corporate office located in 206, 1-8-301, Ashok MyHome Chambers, S.P. Road , Secunderabad-500 003, Andhra Pradesh , India. WIPL proposes to expand its operations in India by setting up water centers across several states in India .
