Sun Microsystems Empowers Developers in India at Sun Tech Days 2009

The 8th edition of Sun Tech Days, Sun Microsystems' annual developer conference kicked off to a great start at the Hyderabad International Convention Center , supported by sessions in Pune and Chennai.  Revolving around the theme of "Empowering You", Sun's premier global developer conference this year focuses on fostering "Innovation, Collaboration, and Integration," among the vibrant developer population in India. Supported by 60 sessions , Sun Tech Days 2009 focuses heavily on technologies around social computing, cloud computing, OpenSolaris and Java. The highlight of this year's event will revolve around interesting demos and sessions on two of the hottest technologies in the world today- Zembly (used to build social networking applications) and Java FX ( to build  Rich Internet Applications).

JavaFX combines the best capabilities of the Java platform with comprehensive, immersive media functionality into an intuitive and comprehensive, one-stop development environment. Zembly is a browser-based development environment from Sun that enables social programming of applications for Facebook, Meebo, OpenSocial, iPhone web applications, and other social platforms, as well as web widgets. Cloud computing, the much talked about trend for 2009 will also be addressed at the conference. Sun will share its vision for the role developer communities around the world will play in the cloud ecosystem. Based on the feedback from the developers around the world the sessions have been loaded with technical content, practical "how to" information, examples of real-world solutions, tips on application performance tuning, hands-on training and more. Participants will experience the latest technology in action, network with their peers and participate in communities, which are changing the face of technology.
