Scholastic India Launches Primary School Textbooks

Scholastic India, a subsidiary of Scholastic Inc., has been helping create a better reading and learning environment for children in India for over ten years.  Scholastic has been bringing children the books they want to read through their proprietary school book clubs, school book fairs and bookstores across the country. A new initiative this year is the launch of curriculum books for primary school. The new Scholastic Education series are as follows: [1] Essential English: a series of five English course books [2] Go Grammar: a series of five grammar course books [3] Go Maths: a series of five maths textbooks.

These series conform to the syllabi prescribed by the various national and state educational bodies. Scholastic will be launching the three series in the metro and non-metro towns by conducting informative workshops for teachers.
