DDI announced the appointment of Smita Affinwalla as the company's new Principal Consultant in work centres for DDI on the design and execution across all the solution areas of Talent Management. Ms. Affinwalla brings with her more than 17 years of experience in the Financial Services industry in diverse business roles in retail, wholesale and institutional businesses both in key business roles and also as a consultant. She has successfully established and run businesses, provided consulting and advisory services and structured financial solutions for her clients.  Previously she held the position of Group Director HR&OD for Motilal Oswal Financial Services Limited where she was responsible for HR & OD across five companies and approximately 2500 employees that comprise the group.

Ms. Affinwalla has also worked with Hewitt Associates as a Senior Consultant in 2002. With  Motilal Oswal Financial Services Limited, she  designed  and built the HR function for the group,  enabled  business success through people and related organizational managing systems. She will operate out of DDI's Mumbai office headquarters in Powai, Mumbai and will lead DDI's solutions for their clients, both Indian and Global. She will also be in charge of solution areas which include Selection and Development of all levels of organisational Talent, Succession Planning and Management, Performance Management and Employee Engagement, managing both Delivery and Profitability of projects and managing relationships with clients.
