The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) has appointed G. Ravindran ("Ravi") as MD of its 100% subsidiary, SHRMI. The Society is the leading voice of the human resource profession, representing the interests of more than 245,000 professional and student members from around the world. SHRMI will focus on expanding its relationships with clients, Business Partners and establishing partnerships with educational institutions and policy makers. Ravi has earlier been the CHRO and had other executive responsibilities with some of the largest organizations in India, including Bharti Televentures, PepsiCo, Lipton, Blue Dart Express and ICI. Most recently, he was SVP global head of HR for Covansys Inc.
