GVK Biosciences (GVK BIO) announced the appointment of Prof. Tarun Khanna to its Board of Directors. Dr.Tarun Khanna is the Jorge Paulo Lemann Professor at the Harvard Business School, where he has been a member of the Strategy group since 1993. He holds a BS degree from Princeton University and a Ph.D. from Harvard University. Dr.Khanna heads the Strategy course in the Harvard MBA program and the Strategy, Leadership & Governance Executive Education program. He also lectures and consults with companies and governments worldwide. Dr.Khanna has contributed articles to Harvard Business Review and Foreign Policy and has served as an expert for major news organizations such as Wall Street Journal, The Economist, the Far Eastern Economic Review, CNN, and CNBC. Serving on the Advisory Boards of several multinational and emerging market companies in the financial services, automotive, life sciences and agribusiness sectors, Dr. Khanna has experience in a wide variety of industries. He was nominated a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2007.
