Ms.Namrata G a name synonymous with fashion tells us how she is ‘Driven by Passion, Empowered by Faith.'

While I was studying for a management degree in Pune, I discovered a strength- The Art of : Communication. I realized that I was truly a peoples person.

As a child , I was very creative and would go to the market shop for little bits of fabric, laces etc and work with a master tailor to create garments not just for myself but for my mother and my neighbors . Before I knew i had the entire society where I lived come and consult me on design. Style and fashion were a part of my attire and I was always influenced by well dressed Women. Movies were a huge influence on me, and I was inspired by the actresses. I would ape their styles .That is when I discovered that I could also be involved in Fashion and  Designing

In the beginning of my work life, I  worked with some constraints and had to choose a vocation that did not involve much travel and involved working out of home. Instead of taking on a corporate job, I chose to work in the area of design . I armed myself with a degree in design from The design school in Bangalore. I then started a studio out of home . My designs were well appreciated and before I knew I had a business growing. Designing  had been close to my heart, and when I most needed it came to my rescue.

With ten years and two labels, Namrata G and Man by Nam - this has been a journey full of fun, learning. growing and love . It gives me great satisfaction to see a well dressed client, be it a corporate executive, a bride or just someone who wishes to look his or her stylish best.

My passion has taken me  further. I provide style tips to many of my clients and giving lectures in their organizations on Impression management. Conducting sessions on Wardrobe management and Style Consultancy enables me to create a new individual. These sessions imbibe  a confidence in them  to achieve their results and in turn move up the ladder. Good dressing is a Silent Communicator and is a powerful tool for Success.

I truly enjoy making a difference through my expertise .One thing has led to the other. I have recently set up Corpret Fox , an Institute for Leadership Development and Impression Management with my partner Dr Kshama Bhatia. Corpret Fox was founded with the  purpose to make a difference in lives of people we connect with to  empower them, such that the ripple effect they create  inspires the  lives of those they touch.

It is very important to love what we do as it then leads us to live a life of purpose . Many persons lead their lives in pursuit of success, but do not love what they do. Passion results in creativity which in turn results in Quality work.
