Steelcase announced that its award-winning Think TM chair is now available for purchase in Indian markets. The Think TM Chair incorporates with the new technologies to anticipate user's needs and react to posture changes after sitting for a long period of time. Created in collaboration with designer Glen Oliver Löw, McDonough Braungart Design Chemistry and the Institute of Product Development in Copenhagen, Denmark, the Think Chair conforms to the highest environmental standards and raises the bar in cradle-to-cradle design and life-cycle thinking. 

The intelligence of this chair can understand your pattern of sitting and adjust intuitively based on your body movements. This function is supported by three essential design elements. The first element is the Your ProfileTM seat and back system which can adjusts to the movement of the user's spine throughout the day.  The second element, the Your PowerTM mechanism interacts with the user in three distinct ways. The third element is Your Preference TM back selector, which allows users to choose between three recline positions. The selection can provide more resistance to user when reclining, which is 20% more than human body can dictate. It also provides adjustments for seat height, seat depth, lumbar height, with an adjustable headrest and 3-way adjustable arms. It is also comprised of 99% recyclable content and can be easily disassembled for recycling with common hand tools in less than 5 minutes.
