Perot Systems announced that it has acquired Original Solutions a professional IT services firm providing applications development and management services to clients in Ireland and the United Kingdom.  Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed. Original Solutions' competencies include web applications and client server development, enterprise integration and legacy systems re-engineering, as well as significant expertise in IT Service Management and IT Infrastructure Library process management.  Based in Limerick and Dublin, Ireland, Original Solutions employs approximately 90 people and reported revenues of €9 million in 2007.  Original Solutions' clients include Allied Irish Bank, Bank of Ireland, Eircom, and O2.  John Collins, the original founder, will remain as head of the company and will facilitate further expansion.
