EMC Data Storage Services announced the appointment of R. Vidyasagar as Senior Director of Human Resources for the EMC India Center of Excellence (COE), EMC's largest R&D centre outside of North America. Vidyasagar will be responsible for overseeing all R&D talent acquisition, people management practices and organizational development of the India COE. 

Vidyasagar brings more than 25 years of HR professional experience in the IT industry to EMC. Prior to joining EMC, Vidyasagar has worked at companies such as Philips Software Center, India, Motorola India Electronics Ltd., Wipro Information Technology Group and i-flex Solutions Limited. He is a core member of several industry and academic groups, including CII SHRM, CII's core HR committee at the Country level, and a regular member of the Facilitators Team at Indian School of Business (ISB) for their Senior Leadership Development Programs. He has a Masters Degree in Human Resources Management and Industrial Relations from Tata Institute of Social Sciences in Mumbai.
