MindTree Chairman & MD Ashok Soota recognized for contributions to Knowledge Innovation within the Enterprise, Society and Industry at large.

MindTree announced that its Chairman and Managing Director Ashok Soota has been conferred the Most Innovative People Award in the category of Knowledge Innovation at the World Summit on Innovation and Entrepreneurship 2008 in Dubai on April 2, 2008, organized by the Global Leadership Team. The selection committee found Soota to have the foresight, courage, benevolence, connected leadership and execution excellence in the category of Knowledge Innovation. The award citation stated that Soota demonstrated creativity, compassion and community at innovating MindTree, the nation of India and the society of entrepreneurs around the globe.

The selection committee recognized Ashok Soota for encouraging the strategic management of knowledge; for his track record of upholding the vital virtues of innovation - confidence, compassion, humility, honesty, integrity and diligence; for his steadfast belief in developing people into knowledge leaders, both in his organization, and in the industry at large; for building MindTree as an interconnected knowledge ecosystem, led by ideas; for harnessing intellectual capital to innovate and generate profitable and sustainable economic value.
