Mobily announced their entry in to India by induction of their wholly owned subsidiary dubbed Mobily InfoTech India Pvt. Ltd, the company's first subsidiary outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Indian arm will help in providing IT solutions and consulting services for the parent company. The announcement of the inauguration of the facility center established under the STPI scheme was made at a press conference held at Leela Palace. The company has employed more than 70 professionals and the number is expected to grow to more than 200 by the end of 2008 with additional growth plans in the coming years.

Mobily Infotech will capitalize on the highly qualified IT professionals and telecom expertise to provide world class services to Mobile operators.  The investment in this subsidiary has exceeded INR 20 crores in the first year of registration and operations and is expected to create about 800 job opportunities in the coming 5 years. The new office is built with world-class standards to create a work environment that promotes the company values of openness and innovation.  It is located in the RMZ NXT complex in Whitefield EPIP area. The centre incorporates a high-tech monitoring and operations center in addition to an advanced data center.
