Teleradiology Solutions launched 'Rad Gurukul' the teleradiology training center in India. Located in Whitefield, Bangalore, the facility will be dedicated towards training and refining the skills of radiologists, technologists and IT personnel involved in health care IT. The training center was inaugurated by Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, CMD Biocon. The other guests of honor present at the event were Pramila Nesargi, Chairperson, Karnataka Women's Commission and J. Parthasarathy, Director, Software Technology Parks of India. Equipped with state of the art amenities, the facility has a state of the art auditorium with videoconferencing facility, which will enable interaction with trainers and trainees from across the globe.
Teleradiology Solutions was among the global pioneers to recognize the importance of bridging geographical distances to provide timely diagnosis. Radiology being a niche area, there is an acute shortage of qualified employable talent in India, which includes health care personnel involved in teleradiology IT, technologists and doctors trained in telemedicine. Company believes superior training can bridge this gap and help reach the goal of establishing India as a hub for high quality teleradiology and telemedicine service.
