ACK Media announced its plans to invigorate the Amar Chitra Katha print titles with plans for introducing new titles every month along with a refreshed look and feel to the comics. The readers now have an easy access to comics of their choice through 500+ retail book stores as well as the Amar Chitra Katha online store. As part of this effort, ACK Media announced the availability of two new titles - Surya's gifts and Shershah. These will be followed up with regular new releases.

While ACK Media plans to extend the Amar Chitra Katha brand to online services, DVDs, TV and film, the investments in print offerings will continue. There are more than 200 Amar Chitra Katha titles that have been out of print for more than a decade. The new print titles will contain stories from the out-of-print catalog as well as completely new content. ACK Media has multiple product offerings including Amar Chitra Katha Illustrated Classics, the Tinkle family of Magazines, the ACK Online Store, TinkleOnline.com and a set of Proprietary Characters.  On popular demand the group has also introduced new special collections in print based on some of its most popular characters like ‘Suppandi', ‘Shikari Shambu' and ‘Kalia'.
