Hyundai's domestic sales grew by 18.2 % in the month of December and registered the overall growth of 9.2%.

Hyundai Motor India registered a combined sale of 3,27,160 vehicles in CY 2007, an increase of 9.2 % over the year 2006. In the domestic market it clocked a growth of 7.6 % with 2, 00,412 units. And the exports grew by 11.8% with 1, 26,748 units as compared to year 2006. For the month of December 2007, Hyundai Motor India recorded an overall growth of 5.6% over the same month last year. On the domestic front, riding high on the newly launched i10, Hyundai Motor clocked an impressive growth of 18.2%.

The total sales stood at 24,664 units. While the domestic market accounted for 13,078 units, exports totaled 11,586 units in December 2007. The cumulative sales for December, 2006 had been 23,355 units. The segment-wise cumulative sales in the month of December 2007 are as follows: A1 Segment - 22,510 units; A2 Segment -2,117 units; A4 Segment - 28 units; and SUV Segment - 9 units.
