The Photographers Guild of India (PGI) hosts the exhibition of Exhibit 'A' on 6th Dec' 2007. PGI represents the top photography talent in the country. Currently there are more than 300 active members from all over the country. Canon India is the principal sponsor of Exhibit 'A' this year.

On 6th December was the opening of the exhibition of Exhibit 'A' by The Photographers Guild of India who believes in celebrating India's foremost advertising photographers and students. Various photographers showcased their work in the exhibition, which represented their soul, driven purely by passion and instinct and not by the rigid guidelines of commercial/advertising photography. The professional photographers, the assistant photographers and the student photographers were adjudged on the basis of the form, shape, technical ability and the composition of the images.

In its 7th year, Exhibit 'A', is now a brand that showcases 'Photography as a Fine Art Form,' adjudged by Iona Ferguson (picture editor of Vogue), Michael Rubenstein (Redux Pictures NYC) and Sanjay Khare (creative director Euro RSCG). The winners from the assistant category were: Himanshu Pandey, Parhad Goghawala, and Swapnil Rao: and from the students category: Amit Hasija, Sweta S. and Nisha Nair were the winners. This year 64 Photographers have participated and they are divided into three categories Professionals, Assistants and Students.
