Hyundai
Motor India experiences steady sales growth. The domestic market accounted for
18,207 units, exports totaled 9,929 units in October 2007. Exports rise by 32.3
%.
Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL), registered an impressive
growth in the month of October 2007, as it recorded a 32.3 % increase in
exports over October, 2006. The overall sales stood at 28,136 units. While the
domestic market accounted for 18,207 units, exports totaled 9,929 units in
October 2007. The cumulative sales for October, 2006 stood at 26,110 units,
domestic sales accounted for 18,603 units and the exports stood at 7,507 units.
Overall sales at Hyundai Motor India recorded a growth of 7.8% in October 2007
over the same month last year.
The segment-wise cumulative sales in the month of October
2007 are as follows: A1 Segment - 24,016 units; A2 Segment - 4,061 units; A3
Segment - 18 units; A4 Segment - 31 units and SUV Segment -10 units.
