A Race Across India, called " INDIA IN 96 HOURS". Young Indians (Yi) of Confederation of Indian Industry with their Youth Affairs student community across the nation organizes a unique national event. This event has seen 23 student teams with 46 students from across taking on challenges at four different corners of India in only 96 Hours. The students would made their way across the country using all available modes of transport (from airplanes to auto rickshaws, as required). The teams faced three challenges that tested their courage, leadership, mental skills, determination and physical strength on every day of the race. Each Pit stop (end point) eliminated at least four teams on each day. Deciphering cryptic clues, the teams needed to figure out their next destination making their way across India.

Throughout the Race the students would face challenges without much external help and with minimal allowances to get them through the day. The Bangalore leg of the race started from the airport at 0800 hrs in morning on 29 October where 16 students who were able to succeed the Chennai leg were taken to different city challenge spots such as Shiva temple and Kemp Fort. The most exciting part of the Bangalore leg was the Jhummaring! with the students climbing down from the Kemp Fort building made the audience hold their breadth. Organizers commented that the enthusiasm of the participants in Bangalore was very high. The students have now made their way to the next city Goa to meet new challenges before ending the 4-day race at their finishing line today evening on the beaches of Goa .

It is guaranteed that with a little brainstorming and good teamwork, the students can manage to reach their finishing lines. This will be followed by a one-and-a-half day Summit for Net students from across the nation. The theme of this first ever Yi Net National summit is "BE THE CHANGE". Yi believes that our student community will emerge as the leaders of tomorrow. Our Youth Affairs program instills in them the core elements of discipline, builds character, channelizes positive energies, moulds skills and fosters leadership.
