Mr. N. Reguraj, Chairman CII, Karnataka flags off " INDIA IN 96 HOURS" - A Race Across India. 6 Students participated from Bangalore, 25 October 2007.

Confederation of Indian Industry's (CII's) Young Indians (Yi) organized for the flag off of the students participating in its unique national event - A Race across India , called " INDIA IN 96 HOURS", to be held between 26-29 October 2007 . The race will end on the beaches of Goa on 29th October, followed by a National Summit for Yi Net students on 30 & 31 October 2007.  The race will include both physical and mental challenges designed to test the courage, leadership, mental skills and determination besides physical strength of the students.

46 students from across India have been short listed to run the final leg of this race. The race will start on 26th October in New Delhi and would pass through   Bangalore on   29 October 2007. Six Students from Bangalore 's St. Joseph college of Business Administration and SBMJC- Center of Management Studies would be representing Bangalore in the final race. 26th Oct' 2007 afternoon the students were flagged from the CII Office by Mr. N. Reguraj, Chairman CII, Karnataka.  The certificates were given to the finalists of the prelim round before the Yi team wished them luck for the final race. On the occasion, Mr. N. Reguraj, Chairman CII, Karnataka shared with the participants that the 'Chak De' spirit should prevail and the youth today should be 'action oriented'!
