Gati Opens Futuristic Express Distribution Centre |

Gati Limited announced the inauguration of its mechantronic Express
Distribution Centre (EDCs) at Peenya, a prime industrial area on the
outskirts of Bangalore. Set up as part of Gati's strategy to create a
chain of Express Distribution Centres, the ultra modern facility is
one-of-its-kind in the country and positions the company to fully
exploit the growing logistics and supply chain market in India.
Spread on a sprawling area of 131000 sq. Ft (approx 3 acres), the
Express Distribution Centre Provides for 7,000 pallet positions and a
total storage capacity of 250,000 sq ft. The mechantronic Express
Distribution Centre utilises the multiple level vertical storage area
optimally and has sophisticated facilities like the fully
air-conditioned and automated Service Centre office that offers all
products and services of Gati.
