Signet Solar Announces To Manufacture Solar Photovoltaic Modules |

"The announcement by Signet Solar to expand its production capacity
will contribute greatly to our plans to accelerate semiconductor and
information technology (IT) hardware manufacturing in India" said
Thiru. A. Raja, India's Honorable Union Minister of Information
Technology. "Combined with our highly skilled manpower and knowledge
workforce, India has an opportunity to be a leader in using technology
to address pressing global energy needs", he added.
Signet Solar is establishing R&D centers in Germany and India.
"Our R&D centers will focus on developing and implementing
innovative product designs, device architectures, manufacturing
methods, and balance of system improvements that will drive down the
cost of energy. We believe that our experience in Germany will help us
to quickly ramp up production in India," said Dr. Rajeeva Lahri,
President, CEO and Founder.
