Novar renamed as Honeywell Electrical Devices and Systems India Ltd |

Novar India, a leading provider of switches and cable management
systems, today announced that its Management and Board of Directors has
approved a change in name of the company to HoneywellElectrical Devices and Systems India Limited. This is a strategic
move in line with the transition planned for the business unit, in
order to further consolidate the company within the Honeywell fold
globally. However the company would continue to market its products
under the brand name "MK".
Novar, India was acquired by Honeywell International in the year 2004.
Honeywell International added this business to the company's
diverse portfolio in order to further strengthen their Automation
and Control Solutions (ACS) division. Novar's industry strengths,
business presence and employees have significantly contributed to
Honeywell International's ACS division since the completion of
the acquisition. This name change signifies the successful
transition of the company into a Honeywell
business unit, over the years.
