Manipal Cure and Care to be an integrated outlet offering mix of services and products in Preventive, Wellness and Beauty under one roof

Bangalore based Manipal Group today announced its foray into Healthcare Retail under the brand name Manipal Cure and Care (MCC). Manipal Cure and Care will offer world-class Healthcare products and services driven by health care professionals and focus on Preventive, Wellness and Beauty. 

The new company formed with a seed capital of INR 50 Crores plans to set up 50 outlets in the next 4 years. The first two outlets will come up in Bangalore and Ahmedabad in July while a total of 10 will be functional by end of this fiscal. Manipal Cure and Care is also planning to launch outlets in NCR, Bombay, Pune, Hyderabad to name a few in current year. 

Wellness and preventive medicine is expected to exceed 1 trillion USD by 2010 worldwide and yet to be seriously looked at in India. The Manipal Cure and Care retail outlets will be established in two different formats across Malls, Mega-cites, Health cities, Hyper Market and High streets with a focus on customers who are time pressed.
