Kingston Technology Company, Inc., proclaimed to introduce three new 8GB cards available in Class 2, 4 and 6 speed ratings as well as two new 4GB SDHC cards in Class 4 and 6 speeds. These cards would provide large memory space and faster data transfer. It would to maximize the performance of today's higher resolution imaging devices, that include digital cameras, camcorders, PDAs, MP3 players and more.

Kingston Technology Company, Inc., the independent world leader in memory products, announced  to expand its line of Secure Digital High-Capacity (SDHC) memory cards with the introduction of three new 8GB cards available in Class 2, 4 and 6 speed ratings as well as two new 4GB SDHC cards in Class 4 and 6 speeds, to maximize the performance of today's higher resolution imaging devices, that include digital cameras, camcorders, PDAs, MP3 players and more.

Rajesh Panicker, Country Manager, India , Kingston  said that their new 8GB SDHC cards as well as the 4GB Class 4 and 6 cards, would satisfy the growing demand of advanced digital devices like larger memory card capacity and faster Data Transfer Rate (DTR) to maximize overall performance.

The new SDHC format surpasses capacities beyond the original 2GB threshold for the Secure DigitalTM (SD) card format. Offered in three different speed classes (2, 4 and 6), each SDHC class designation reflects the minimum sustained DTR of megabytes per second. For example, a Class 2 SDHC card has a minimum DTR of 2MB/sec, while a Class 6 SDHC card has a minimum DTR of 6MB/sec. The higher capacities and speeds of the SDHC format optimizes SDHC-compatible devices running MPEG-2, MPEG-4 and other high quality video compression used by consumer HD and DVD video. All the memory cards are backed by a lifetime warranty and free technical support. These are distributed in India by AA Infoways, Avnet India , Ingram Micro, Kobian Electronics and Transtek Infoways.
