Silicon Integrated Systems (SiS) presents new product lineups in Home Media Center section.

Silicon Integrated Systems (SiS) presented its new product lineups in various applications of digital devices. It had been offering innovative embedded solutions and accumulated technologies of producing DRAM modules and WLAN solutions and now this chipset maker gets involved in the development of Home Media Center by integrating all of its product lines and resources.

In Home Media Center section at SiS booth, Microsoft Xbox 360 gaming console plays a key role by receiving multimedia digital signals from different multimedia devices and sources through wireless or cable connection. Microsoft Xbox 360, adopting SiS' made-to-order multimedia I/O chipset, integrates the useful functions of playing music, movies and photo slide shows. Xbox 360 is one of the most important displayed products. It is connected with Fujitsu Siemens' SiS741CX/SiS964-based multimedia computer, Clevo's SiSM671MX/SiS968-based notebook PC and IEI's SiS661CX/SiS966-based panel PC to form the Home Media Center section. And, the section works perfectly with advanced digital signals output from a wireless gateway, which is SiS163U-based and produced by HotCom. SiS'

SiS chipsets, used in Home Media Center , are applied in both Intel and AMD platforms. In the near future, people will be able to hook up to the internet, watch TV shows and movies on demand, download music and also operate other digital entertainment devices simply by using a remote controller. Furthermore, people can share the digital contents with family members in different rooms through a Home Media Center .
