Air Deccan announced the appointment of Ramki Sundaram as the company's Chief Financial Officer and resignation of Finance Director M.G Mohan Kumar.

Ramki Sundaram has been an investment banker in the aviation field with experience of over 10 years. He has been instrumental in spearheading the aviation business for Investec Bank (UK) Ltd where he had a successful stint of 2 years before joining Air Deccan.

M.G Mohan Kumar, Finance Director Air Deccan had been associated with the charter division as a consultant since its inception. With the increasing demands of a budding airline in terms of time and huge investments, aircraft acquisitions and major financial deals he found it prudent to work full time and join the airline in 2004 as the Finance Director. a firm of Chartered Accountants where he is the founding partner. He along with his firm will continue to consult for Air Deccan .
