Air Deccan migrates to Radixx Reservation System PDF Print E-mail

Air Deccan announced that it had migrated to Radixx Reservation System. Previously the Air Deccan booking engine was being powered by Inter Globe Technologies. The migration to the new reservation system took place on 27th February 2007. 

Air Deccan was the first airline in India to introduce a 100% web enabled booking system and is the largest e-commerce website in Asia. The Air Deccan website on an average receives approx 2.5 crores hits per month. 

Capt G.R Gopinath Managing Director Air Deccan commented on the new system, "Air Deccan has always aimed at leveraging technology to offer efficient and innovative services to its passengers. We are a technology driven company and believe that IT has opened up a world of opportunity for airlines enabling them to provide convenience and control to travelers right through the booking stage to in-flight service."

While the new system has been implemented successfully there could be a few teething problems which passengers may encounter.
