Microsoft India wins DataQuest Top Innovation Company Award for the year 2005-06 |

Microsoft
India
announced that it has won the DataQuest Annual Award in the categories of
Top Innovation Company Award and Top Package Software Vendor Award 2005-06.
The awards, based on a survey conducted by Dataquest encompassing nearly 1,000
IT companies; recognizes corporate and individual achievements across various
sectors of the Indian IT industry.
The Top Innovation Company award recognizes the company's
contribution towards key product developments and a significant number of
patents filed over the past year. This achievement can be attributed to
the crucial role played by Microsoft India Development Centre (MSIDC),
Hyderabad . The Top Package
Software Vendor Award is given to Microsoft based on the highest sales achieved
in the July/August 2006.
