My favorite is PrimoPDF
This is a free tool which once installed acts as a virtual printer. Any reports or documents can be directed to primoPDF and the file gets saved in pdf format. A very useful tool and saves both catridge and paper resources.

Ubuntu is a great Linux variant. It can be downloaded and burnt on a CD. Boot from the CD to test drive, and if required install it. It comes bundled with all the regular software you need without needing to know a great deal of Linux. It is easy to transition from Windows to Ubuntu. If anybody is interested, let me know. I have a few CDs available. Ubuntu also ships CDs free worldwide. Please go to www.ubuntu.com if you are interested.
